How to get there

By road, Kisumu is only 335km from Nairobi to the north and only 2km from Kisumu Hippo point. Charter flights are one hour from Nairobi with regular scheduled flights. Kisumu and Ndere Island are also accessible by boat or ferry from Kendu Bay, Homa Bay and Mbita
