5 Day Rwanda Cultural and Gorilla Tour.
Day 1: Arrival and pick up from the Airport.
On this day, after you arrive at the airport, you are picked up by our skilled and professional guide driver who will then transfer you to the Kigali City. While here, you can choose to visit any of the genocide memorials around the city center if time allows. However, you might probably be tired from the journey and need rest thus your driver will take you to your accommodation and or hotel so that you could catch some sleep and get prepared for the following day’s events.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and transfer to the Parc National des Volcans.
Get up early morning and enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. Thereafter, head out with your guide for a tour around the famous Kigali City. Visit the Genocide Memorial sites like Gissozi, the Rwanda National Museum with many other places, get to hear stories about the history behind and the events that led to the rise of these memorials and so much more. After you are through exhausting all you needed to know about the city, you are then transferred to the Volcanoes National Park which is also referred to as the Parc National des Volcans. It is the well-known home to the mountain gorillas which are an endangered species. Check into your accommodation, freshen up and have dinner then some rest.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking.
Once you are through having your untimely breakfast, head out for a mini briefing from the senior park rangers after which they will take you to the start point of the gorilla trail. You are put in groups along with the rest of the trailers. Enjoy an encounter with these gentle giants that will probably take two to six hours. Take photographs and watch the amazing lifestyle of creatures as they feed, play and take part in acrobatics among other things. Later on, head back to your hotel and relax. You can opt to have a cultural walk in the evening where you will be entertained by the community of the Banyarwanda. Enjoy your dinner and rest.
Day 4: The Dian Fossey Trek and visit to the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village.
Enjoy your breakfast and head out for an early morning hike to the Karisoke Center established by Dian Fossey who was significantly known for the broad study she did on mountain gorillas till the day she passed on. Here you will get to learn more on mountain gorilla conservation through the activities you will be doing there. Later in the day, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural village, a very fascinating excursion when it comes to culture. Get a chance to see traditional houses of local Kings, medicine men concocting local herbs and songs and dances performed by the locals including a number of other fun and exciting activities. Head back to your hotel for dinner and relaxation.
Day 5: Departure.
Delight yourself in an early morning breakfast thereafter enjoy the ride back to Kigali City and then to the airport to catch your departure flight. You can get a chance to make some stopovers and buy yourself some souvenirs along the way.
