Birds of Lake Manyara National Park

Best time for watching birds
Although bird watching is great all year round, the finest time for watching birds inside lake Manyara is from the beginning of November to the end of April, as you will be able to see various migrant species coming from Europe as well as the Northern part of Africa. Also during this time the resident species begin nesting therefore it is really easy to see the birds while in breeding plumage.
