Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha town

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and you will be greeted by our professional guide who will then transfer you to Arusha town, where you will spend a night.

Day 2: Transfer to the Maasai Villages

We shall today visit the traditional village within the monduli Juu and learn about the culture and the life styles of Tanzanians. The Emairete village is a village within the small crater in Monduli district and it’s close to Monduli Mountain. The clients who also wish to visit a none tourist village where you will enjoy a 6 hour excursion to the village of Emairete. Clients will meet with the chairman of this village and learn how a village of this big size is managed along with the day today issues. There will be site visits which will include; fetching water from the holes with the maasai women, the activity is only for the women, while men will join the maasai warriors on the field as they graze the cattle. The women here adorn themselves in the brightly colored handmade colours as well as the men in their distinctive cloth which also showcase their amazing prowess for the visitors.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Have breakfast and after visit a primary school, a hospital, the court house as well as the district offices which are located in Monduli town. Thereafter, we shall drive by road to Lake Manyara for the traditional hot lunch that will be prepared by the local women of Mto-wa-mbu. This si also a small village that is located few miles away from Lake Manyara national park. After your lunch, you will enjoy a game drive in the park.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast and after travel by road to Serengeti National Park via the Olduvai Gorge. You will enjoy a visit to this gorge as well as the museum and learn about the archaeology, history as well as the ancient hominid ancestors at the Gorge. This gorge is the world most famous archaeological site and many people are interested in the mankind’s ancestors that will be fascinated by the history of this great extra ordinary place. This gorge and the surrounding area are also extremely interesting from the wildlife perspective to the habitant that supports the animals and the plants. This gorge tour also includes a visit to the great museum and the visitor’s centre plus a lecture by a department of Antiquities guide. The museum has got several displays that includes a cast of the infamous laetoli footprints which are along the fossil bones and the stone tools.

Day 4: Have a game drive in Serengeti N.P

On this day, you will enjoy a full day game drive within Serengeti National park with a hot lunch at the camp or a picnic lunch. You might also get an opportunity to visit the maasai historical site which is found with in the park like the masai musical rocks as well as the Maasai painting rocks.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater

Have breakfast at the camp and travel to Ngorongoro crater and have a 6 hour game drive which will be followed by a nature walk to the Ngorongoro height land. We will after proceed to your special camp for your dinner and an overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Arusha

Today, you will have breakfast and after transfer back to Arusha town.
