Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Rift Valley Drive & Afternoon Safari

Depart from Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a stop at a panoramic viewpoint before continuing through rolling hills and savannahs.
Check in to your lodge or tented camp for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, seeking elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and possibly your first lion encounter.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara – Big Five & Mara River

Today is a full-day safari adventure across the expansive plains of Masai Mara, one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations. With a picnic lunch packed, spend the day searching for the Big Five, lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes, as well as cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and more.
Visit the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles, and if traveling between July and October, possibly witness the Great Wildebeest Migration crossings.

Optional: Visit a Masai village for cultural interaction.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Flamingos & Rhinos

After breakfast, leave the Mara and head to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5–6 hrs). Arrive for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru, famous for its flamingos, white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and acacia woodland leopards. Enjoy sunset views across the alkaline lake.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha – Boat Safari & Walking Tour

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake within the Rift Valley. Take a guided boat ride to spot hippos, African fish eagles, and waterbirds.
Visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a walking safari among zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and impalas. Optional visit to Hell’s Gate National Park for cycling and hiking (additional fee).

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli – Kilimanjaro Views

Depart after breakfast and drive southeast to Amboseli National Park, located near the Kenya–Tanzania border (approx. 6–7 hrs). Arrive in time for a late lunch and a sunset game drive, where you’ll see elephant herds moving beneath the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 6: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli – Wetlands, Wildlife & Views

Start your day early with a morning game drive, the best time for clear views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and active predators. Amboseli is renowned for its vast elephant herds, wetlands filled with birds and hippos, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Return to your lodge for lunch and relax before a short evening drive.

Day 7: Amboseli to Tsavo West – Lava Fields & Mzima Springs

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park (approx. 4 hrs). On arrival, visit the Shetani Lava Flows, remnants of ancient volcanic eruptions. Then proceed to Mzima Springs, a lush oasis fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro, where you can view hippos and fish from an underwater observation window.
Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the rocky terrain and open plains.

Day 8: Tsavo West to Tsavo East – Man-Eaters & Red Elephants

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning drive in Tsavo West, then transfer to Tsavo East National Park, the land of red-dusted elephants and open savannahs.
Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in Kenya’s largest park, famous for maneless lions, giant herds of elephants, and the Galana River ecosystem.

Day 9: Full-Day Safari in Tsavo East – Raw Wilderness Adventure

Spend the day exploring Tsavo East, visiting key areas like Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rock, and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow. Game drives reveal lions, elephants, elands, zebras, ostriches, and more in a less crowded, more remote safari setting.
Optional: bush breakfast or sundowner at a scenic viewpoint.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi or Drop-off in Mombasa

Enjoy your final early morning game drive and breakfast at the lodge. Then begin your return drive to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hrs) or opt for a Mombasa drop-off (approx. 4 hrs) for a beach extension at the Indian Ocean coast.
Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
