Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek – Welcome Briefing

Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek. Your guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short tour of Windhoek’s city highlights, such as Christ Church and the Old Fort.

Overnight at Villa Vista Guesthouse or similar.

Day 2: Windhoek to Etosha National Park – First Game Drive

Drive north through Okahandja and Otjiwarongo toward Etosha National Park (approx. 5–6 hrs). After check-in and lunch at your lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive. Visit nearby waterholes like Nebrownii and Okaukuejo to spot elephants, zebras, oryx, and springbok.

Overnight at Okaukuejo Camp or Taleni Etosha Village.

Day 3: Etosha National Park – Full Day Wildlife Safari

Explore Etosha’s central and eastern regions on a full-day safari. Visit popular waterholes such as Halali, Goas, and Rietfontein. Track lions, rhinos, giraffes, and herds of wildebeest along the vast Etosha Pan. Stop for lunch at Halali and return to your lodge by late afternoon.

Optional: Night game drive in the park’s concession area.

Day 4: Etosha to Skeleton Coast via Damaraland

Depart Etosha and head west toward Damaraland, passing Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s tallest peak. Continue through Uis and Toras, entering the Skeleton Coast National Park. This desolate but dramatic area features windswept dunes, shipwrecks, and shifting sea mist.

Visit the Huab Lagoon and abandoned mining stations along the coast before reaching your lodge.

Overnight at Cape Cross Lodge or Skeleton Coast Camp.

Day 5: Skeleton Coast to Swakopmund – Seal Colony & Coastal Drive

After breakfast, drive south along the Skeleton Coast, stopping at the Cape Cross Seal Reserve, home to over 100,000 fur seals. Continue through salt pans and shifting desert landscapes to Swakopmund.

Arrive in this coastal town and explore its beach promenade, museums, and local restaurants.

Overnight at Swakopmund Plaza Hotel or Hotel A La Mer.

Day 6: Swakopmund – Adventure Day (Sandboarding & Quad Biking)

Spend the day enjoying optional adventure sports in Swakopmund and Walvis Bay:

  • Morning: Quad biking and sandboarding on the towering dunes outside town
  • Afternoon: Optional catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay, spotting seals, dolphins, and pelicans
  • Evening: Explore Swakopmund’s lively restaurants and bakeries

Overnight at Swakopmund Plaza Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Swakopmund to Sossusvlei – Scenic Desert Drive

Depart the coast and drive southeast through Gaub and Kuiseb passes, stopping at Solitaire for snacks. Continue to Sesriem, gateway to the Namib Desert and Sossusvlei dunes.

Arrive by late afternoon and settle into your desert lodge.

Overnight at Desert Camp or Sossus Dune Lodge.

Day 8: Dune Climbing at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei

Start before dawn to enter Namib-Naukluft Park in time for sunrise. Climb Dune 45 or Big Daddy, then explore Deadvlei, a haunting white pan with fossilized camelthorn trees. Visit Sossusvlei and return via Sesriem Canyon.

Afternoon is at leisure or optional scenic flight over the dunes.

Overnight at Desert Camp or similar.

Day 9: Drive to Orange River – Canoe Adventure

Drive south through the Naukluft Mountains and Karas region to the Orange River, which forms the border between Namibia and South Africa. Arrive in the Noordoewer area and check in at a riverside camp.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a relaxing canoe trip along the Orange River, passing reeds, rock formations, and birdlife.

Overnight at Felix Unite Provenance Camp or Norotshama River Resort.

Day 10: Morning Rafting & Return to Windhoek

Take a short rafting or canoeing excursion on the Orange River before breakfast. Afterward, begin the return journey to Windhoek (domestic flight optional depending on availability). Arrive in the capital by evening for your onward flight or additional overnight.

Optional: Overnight stay in Windhoek for flight the following day.
