Arrival in Juba – Capital City Tour

Arrive at Juba International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After a brief rest, embark on a guided city tour of Juba.

Visit the John Garang Mausoleum, All Saints Cathedral, and the White Nile River viewpoint. Stroll through Konyo Konyo Market, known for vibrant displays of produce, local crafts, and fabrics. Dinner will be served at a traditional South Sudanese restaurant.

Mundari Cattle Camp – Pastoral Culture & Traditional Lifestyles

Depart after breakfast for a Mundari cattle camp located just outside Juba. The Mundari people are famed for their strong cultural identity, large-horned Ankole cattle, and ash-based body rituals.

Spend the day observing daily life, cattle tending practices, and interacting (respectfully) with community elders. Golden hour at the cattle camp offers stunning photographic moments.

Return to Juba in the evening.

Drive to Boma National Park – Overland Expedition

Depart Juba for the long drive east to Boma National Park, South Sudan’s largest protected area. The road journey takes approximately 8–10 hours, crossing rural settlements and savannah woodlands.

Arrive near the park boundary and set up at a rustic lodge or tented camp. Enjoy a bush dinner and briefing about the next day’s exploration.

Boma National Park – White-Eared Kob & Tribal Encounters

Spend the full day exploring Boma National Park, known for its seasonal white-eared kob migration, tiang antelope, reedbuck, and Mongalla gazelle. The park also supports giraffes and buffaloes in its northern zones.

Visit communities like the Murle or Jie, observing pastoral life and local architecture. This region is rarely visited, offering a true frontier feel.

Return to Juba – Rest & Urban Comfort

Drive to Nimule National Park – Borderland Safari

Head south along the highway toward Nimule National Park, located at the border with Uganda (approx. 5–6 hours). The park is set against the White Nile River, with rolling hills and good populations of elephants, hippos, baboons, and antelopes.

Check into a safari camp or riverside lodge. Go for a late afternoon wildlife drive along the park’s main tracks.

Nimule Park Safari & White Nile Views

Spend a full day in Nimule National Park, beginning with a morning game drive. Cruise along the White Nile by canoe or boat (seasonal availability), spotting hippos and crocodiles.

Visit nearby tribal villages, particularly Madi or Acholi communities, where cultural rituals and farming practices remain largely intact. Relax at your lodge in the evening, with the sounds of nature around you.

Mount Kinyeti or Itirikwa Falls Hike (Depending on Fitness Level)

Choose from two adventure options:

Option 1: Mount Kinyeti Hike – South Sudan’s highest peak at 3,187m. A full-day hike requires early departure, local ranger support, and good fitness. The climb offers expansive views, birdlife, and alpine vegetation.

Option 2: Itirikwa or Fulla Falls Visit – Visit Fulla Falls, a powerful cascade near Nimule town. These waterfalls are a scenic and cultural landmark, surrounded by rock pools and fig trees.

Return to lodge by evening.

Return to Juba – Final Shopping
