Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport, where your guide will meet you. Transfer to your guesthouse and receive a briefing about your trip. Relax or explore the city’s historical buildings, local markets, or craft shops.

Drive northeast to the Waterberg Plateau Park, a striking table mountain rising from the plains. After check-in, enjoy a guided nature walk or an optional game drive in the park, home to white rhinos, roan, and sable antelope.

Head north to Etosha National Park, reaching the southern entrance (Andersson Gate) by early afternoon. After check-in, embark on your first game drive, visiting waterholes frequented by elephants, giraffes, springbok, and lions.

Explore the central sector of Etosha, stopping at popular waterholes like Rietfontein and Goas. Expect sightings of black rhinos, lions, and large elephant herds. Enjoy lunch at Halali Camp, then continue with an afternoon game drive.

Travel northwest into Kaokoland, one of Namibia’s most remote and culturally distinct areas. Visit a traditional Himba village, where you’ll learn about tribal life, body adornment, and beliefs from a local guide.

Drive north to the Epupa Falls, a series of cascades on the Kunene River near the Angolan border. This is a remote and spectacular area with baobab trees and palm groves.

Drive south through scenic Damaraland, a region of wide valleys and ancient rock formations. Reach your lodge near Twyfelfontein, home to desert-adapted elephants and UNESCO-listed San rock engravings.

Explore Twyfelfontein’s rock engravings, then visit Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. In the afternoon, join a nature drive to track desert-adapted elephants along dry riverbeds.

Drive west to reach the wild Skeleton Coast, stopping at the Cape Cross Seal Reserve. Continue south along the Atlantic coastline to Swakopmund, where German colonial architecture meets desert sands.

Travel southeast through the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes, stopping at Solitaire. Reach Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei, by late afternoon.

Rise early to enter Namib-Naukluft Park at sunrise. Climb Dune 45, explore Deadvlei’s salt pan, and visit Sossusvlei, surrounded by towering red dunes.
In the afternoon, explore Sesriem Canyon, carved deep into the desert floor.

Drive southeast to the Kalahari Desert region near Mariental. Enjoy a sundowner nature drive on red sand dunes, where springbok, oryx, and meerkats roam.

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Windhoek (approx. 3.5–4 hours). Optional stop at Okahandja craft market for souvenirs before your drop-off at the airport or overnight hotel.
