Day 1: Arrive in Cairo – Welcome to the Land of Pharaohs

Your Egyptian journey begins with a warm welcome at Cairo International Airport, where our representative will assist you with immigration procedures and luggage collection. Once cleared, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. On the way, enjoy glimpses of the Nile River and the vibrant Cairo skyline. Depending on your arrival time, you can rest or choose to join an optional Nile dinner cruise featuring local music, belly dancing, and views of Cairo by night. This day is all about easing into the rhythm of Egypt while our team ensures you’re well-prepared for the days ahead.

Day 2: Explore the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara Step Pyramid

After a full Egyptian breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Egypt’s most iconic treasures. Visit the Giza Plateau, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu rises 146 meters above the desert, still standing as the last of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Admire the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and stand face-to-face with the mysterious Great Sphinx, symbol of wisdom and strength.
After lunch, journey to Saqqara, the ancient necropolis where you’ll discover the Step Pyramid of Djoser, Egypt’s earliest colossal stone structure and a predecessor to the Giza monuments. Explore surrounding tombs and get an introduction to Old Kingdom artistry and burial practices.

Day 3: Museum, Coptic & Islamic Cairo Exploration

This day dives deeper into Egypt’s cultural soul. Start with the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts. Marvel at the royal treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his golden mask and ornate sarcophagus, along with well-preserved mummies and ancient tools.
Next, visit Coptic Cairo, where Christianity thrived in ancient times. Tour the Hanging Church, Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, built on the spot believed to be where baby Moses was found.
Later, continue to Islamic Cairo to explore the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop for spices, perfumes, and handmade crafts.

Day 4: Alexandria Day Trip – Catacombs, Citadel & the Great Library

Drive along the desert highway to Alexandria, the Mediterranean city built by Alexander the Great. Begin at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a fascinating blend of Greco-Roman and Egyptian styles buried underground. Then, visit the Roman Amphitheatre, one of the few in Egypt, and stroll past elegant Italianate architecture and French-style boulevards.
After lunch by the sea, explore the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress built on the ruins of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Conclude with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, a modern architectural marvel housing millions of books and digital archives. Return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 5: Fly to Aswan – Island Temples, Granite Obelisks & Nile Serenity

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan, Egypt’s southern gem known for its Nubian charm. Upon arrival, embark on a guided visit to the Philae Temple, dramatically relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising Nile. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is one of Egypt’s most romantic and serene sites.
Continue to the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that controls Nile flooding and generates power for much of Egypt. Then, see the Unfinished Obelisk, lying in its ancient quarry, a testament to the pharaohs’ grand ambitions. End the day with a gentle felucca sailboat ride on the Nile.

Day 6: Abu Simbel Excursion & Nile Cruise Boarding

Start the day early with a drive through the Nubian desert to the breathtaking Abu Simbel Temples. These colossal rock-cut structures were built by Ramses II to commemorate his reign and impress foreign visitors. See the four giant statues of the pharaoh and the inner sanctuary that aligns with the sun twice a year.
Return to Aswan and board your Nile Cruise, your floating hotel for the next three nights. Enjoy onboard amenities, delicious Egyptian meals, and sweeping views of life along the riverbanks.

Day 7: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples – Cruising Ancient Waters

Today is dedicated to the splendor of Thebes, ancient capital of the New Kingdom. Begin with the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll enter tombs of famous pharaohs like Ramses III and Tutankhamun (optional entry).
Next, visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a rare female pharaoh who left a stunning legacy built into a desert cliff. Conclude with the Colossi of Memnon, towering statues guarding the Theban necropolis.

Day 9: Luxor East Bank – Karnak, Luxor Temple & Avenue of Sphinxes

Start with the monumental Karnak Temple Complex, Egypt’s largest religious structure spanning over 2,000 years. Walk through the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering columns and see the Sacred Lake and obelisks.
Then, follow the restored Avenue of Sphinxes to Luxor Temple, especially beautiful at sunset with golden hues reflecting on the sandstone.
After the tour, transfer to Hurghada by private vehicle (approx. 4–5 hours) for your Red Sea retreat.
