This 4-day Guinea tour covers both the capital city Conakry and the scenic interior of the country. With visits to national landmarks, waterfalls, cultural centers, and the highlands of Mount Nimba, this short trip offers a balanced mix of urban life, nature, and tradition.
Day 1: Arrival in Conakry – City Tour and Cultural Introduction
Arrive at Conakry International Airport, where your guide will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and rest, begin a guided afternoon tour of the capital.
Visit the National Museum of Guinea, featuring tribal masks, musical instruments, and artifacts from Guinea’s ethnic groups. Continue to the Cathedral of Sainte-Marie, one of Conakry’s main colonial-era landmarks.
Walk through Marché Madina, the largest market in the country, where vendors sell textiles, food, spices, baskets, and jewelry. End the day with sunset views along the Atlantic coast at Corniche Nord.

Day 2: Kindia – Voile de la Mariée Waterfall and Local Culture
After breakfast, depart for Kindia, a town located about 130 km from Conakry (approx. 3 hours). Along the way, pass through rural communities and rolling green hills.
Visit the Voile de la Mariée (Bride’s Veil) Waterfall, a beautiful cascade tucked into a forested area. Learn about the local legends surrounding the site, and enjoy time to relax or take a short guided hike in the surrounding nature.
In the afternoon, explore the town’s craft markets and meet local artisans who create pottery, wooden sculptures, and handmade fabrics.

Day 3: Mount Nimba Highlands and Forest Communities

Visit surrounding Manon and Malinké villages, known for their traditional dwellings and farming practices. Engage in a cultural exchange to learn about forest-based livelihoods, medicinal plants, and storytelling traditions.
Return to Kindia by evening for overnight stay.
