Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
By 6:00am your safari driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and drive you to the Kidepo Valley National park driving through major towns and cities like kitgum, Gulu and the great Karamoja land in northern Uganda. You will be impressed by the unique landscape and arid lands in this part of the country as well as see the local village settlements that you will pass by. the Kidepo is home to a diversity of birds (over 462 species) including the kori bustard and ostriches, as well as different animals including elephants, lions, zebras, elands, bat-eared fox, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, buffaloes and many others. You will check into your accommodation for dinner and the night’s rest.

Day 2: Game Drives
After breakfast, head out for a game drive to see a number of Uganda’s amazing wild animals such as the Uganda Kobs, giraffes hyenas, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and different antelopes which live within the borassus palm forest and savannah lands that dominate the kidepo river valley. You will also enjoy views of the Narus Valley found in the south western part of the park.
In the afternoon after lunch, either visit the very beautiful Kanangorok hot water springs where you will spot various animals and bird like the ostrich that linger nearby, or go for another game drive. Later return for dinner and lunch at the lodge

Day 3: Game Viewing and Cultural Visit
Today you will have another day to explore this amazing park as you view the various animals and birds living here. Hard to see species like the hunting dogs, cheetahs, zebras, bushbucks, elands, Rothschild’s giraffes, jackson’s hartebeests, jackals and the roan antelope are among the many animals you are likely to encounter today.
After lunch you will have a cultural visit in the Karamajong region to meet the local people, learn about their very unique culture, and see how this community which for centuries has upheld to its traditional beliefs and customs, and unmatched love for their cattle is beginning to embrace the modern way of life.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After an early morning begin the drive back to Kampala as this will be the final day of our safari. You will have lunch en-route and be dropped at a hotel of your choice to at the Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
