Upon arrival at Banjul International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Kololi or Cape Point.
In the afternoon, visit the sacred Kachikally Crocodile Pool in Bakau, where locals believe touching a crocodile brings blessings. Learn about traditional beliefs and the importance of this sacred site.
Later, explore the colorful chaos of Serekunda Market, the largest market in The Gambia, filled with spices, crafts, and traditional fabrics. End the day at your beach resort for relaxation and sunset views.

After early breakfast, embark on a full-day River Gambia cruise to Tendaba Camp, deep in the interior. Enjoy birdwatching from the boat as you navigate through creeks and wetlands, home to species like pelicans, kingfishers, bee-eaters, and herons.
Arrive at Tendaba, a rustic lodge on the riverbank, and explore nearby Fula and Mandinka villages for a glimpse into rural life. In the evening, enjoy storytelling by a local elder.

Today you’ll explore Kiang West National Park, one of The Gambia’s largest protected areas, known for birdwatching, baboons, bushbuck, and occasional sightings of warthogs and hyenas.
After a picnic lunch, begin your return journey to the coast, with scenic stops along the way, including local craft centers or traditional peanut farms.
Arrive back in Kololi or Cape Point in the evening.
