Lake Victoria is the world’s second largest freshwater lake and one of the great Nile perch fisheries on Earth. Perch over 100kg have been landed off the rocky shoreline of Ssese Islands. This five-day fishing tour combines big-fish action with bird-rich island stays.
Fishing is mostly trolling or live-baiting from a stable launch. Tackle, bait, and an experienced fishing captain are provided.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe Arrival
Met at airport, transfer to your lakeside lodge. Evening fishing briefing.\n\nMeals: Dinner
Day 2-4: Daily Fishing Trips
Full days fishing for Nile perch, tilapia, and tigerfish. Picnic lunch on board.\n\nMeals: Full board
Day 5: Departure
Final morning fishing, transfer back to Entebbe.\n\nMeals: Breakfast
