South Luangwa National Park is the birthplace of the walking safari and remains its undisputed home. This five-day journey takes you on foot through riverine forests and open plains alongside experienced armed scouts and naturalists who decode every track, dropping, and bird call along the way.
You will base at a classic bush camp on the Luangwa River, where elephant, hippo, leopard, and over 400 bird species roam freely outside your tent. Mornings are reserved for walking; afternoons for game drives or quiet riverside afternoons.
