Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara – Game Drive & Rift Valley Escarpment

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2.5 hours).
On arrival, enter the park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara is known for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and over 400 bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. Explore the groundwater forest, open plains, and lakeshore.
Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site and continue your game drive along the Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park – Endless Plains & Afternoon Safari

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro highlands and rural Maasai lands (approx. 4–5 hrs drive, game drive en route).
Arrive at Serengeti Central (Seronera) in time for lunch, followed by a thrilling afternoon game drive.
The Serengeti is famed for its resident big cats, massive wildebeest herds, and endless golden savannahs. Look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large groups of elephants and buffalos as you explore the heart of the park.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti – Big Cats & Great Migration (Seasonal)

Spend a full day exploring different zones of the Serengeti ecosystem on morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may follow the Great Migration or focus on the central region’s rich predator populations.
Spotting wildebeests, zebras, elands, hyenas, and the elusive leopards is likely. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for hot meals between drives.
Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost, advance booking required).

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Scenic Drive & Wildlife Viewing

After an early breakfast and final game drive in the Serengeti, begin your journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You’ll pass through wildlife-rich corridors where animals freely roam between parks. Arrive at the crater rim by late afternoon. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site (entry fee extra).
Relax at your lodge overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater, with stunning sunset views.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. This is one of Africa’s best places to see the Big Five in a single day.
You’ll encounter black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly leopards, as well as hippos, flamingos, and spotted hyenas in the crater’s diverse habitats.
After a packed picnic lunch by Lake Magadi, ascend back to the rim and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
Optional drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for evening flights.
