Zimbabwe Safari Holidays | Victoria Falls Tours | Hwange National Park Safaris
Your safari begins upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, where you’ll be received by our guide and transferred to your lodge. Victoria Falls is one of Africa’s most visited sites, home to the world’s largest waterfall by volume. After check-in, spend some time relaxing before heading out for a guided sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
This scenic river experience offers chances to view hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the banks. Refreshments and snacks are served on board while you enjoy views of the African sunset. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out on a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls. Locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya or “The Smoke That Thunders,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a curtain of water over 1.7 kilometers wide and up to 108 meters high. The walk takes you through rainforest trails with several vantage points offering direct views of the falls and the gorge.
In the afternoon, you may choose from optional activities:

After an early breakfast, drive approximately 2.5 to 3 hours south to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest wildlife reserve, covering over 14,600 square kilometers. The park is home to more than 100 species of mammals and 400 bird species, including large elephant herds, lions, buffalos, cheetahs, and wild dogs.
Check into your safari lodge, enjoy lunch, and prepare for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the park in an open 4×4 vehicle with an experienced tracker. Hwange is known for its seasonal waterholes, baobab trees, and diversity of ecosystems.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive while the animals are most active. Your guide will take you through different habitats ranging from teak woodlands to open grasslands, maximizing wildlife sightings. Return for breakfast and relax during the midday hours at the lodge, some lodges offer wildlife hides for close viewing at waterholes.
In the late afternoon, return to the bush for another game drive. Keep an eye out for the park’s famed predators such as lions and leopards that become more active as temperatures drop. After sunset, night drives may be possible depending on your lodge.

Enjoy breakfast and a relaxed morning at the lodge. Afterwards, drive back to Victoria Falls for your onward flight. Depending on your schedule, optional morning game viewing or a village visit near Hwange can be arranged.
Your Zimbabwe safari ends with drop-off at Victoria Falls Airport.
