Arrive at Lungi International Airport and transfer by ferry or road to Freetown. After check-in at your hotel, take a guided tour of Sierra Leone’s capital:

Depart for the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, located in the forested hills just outside Freetown. Meet rescued chimpanzees and learn about conservation projects protecting the Western Area Peninsula Forest.
Enjoy a short hike to Leicester Peak for panoramic views of Freetown and the Atlantic Ocean. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Take a speedboat from Kent Village to the Banana Islands, a group of tropical islets known for colonial ruins and beach charm. Explore Dublin Island with its 19th-century church and cannon relics, then cross to Ricketts Island for swimming and snorkeling.
Lunch is served by the sea. Return to Freetown in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, travel by road to Tiwai Island, located on the Moa River in the Upper Guinea Rainforest. This protected reserve is home to 11 species of primates, including the Diana monkey and red colobus, as well as over 130 species of birds.
Arrive and settle into your eco-lodge, then take an evening forest walk with a local guide.
