After check-in and lunch, join a leopard tracking drive led by the AfriCat Foundation’s research team. You may also see cheetahs, hyenas, warthogs, and other smaller predators.

After breakfast, travel north to Etosha National Park, reaching the southern gate (Andersson Gate) around midday. After settling in and enjoying lunch, head out for your first Etosha game drive. The park’s southern area is known for frequent sightings of elephants, giraffes, and springbok around waterholes such as Nebrownii and Okaukuejo.
Return to your lodge in time for sunset.
Overnight at Okaukuejo Camp or Taleni Etosha Village.
Begin your day with an early start to explore central and eastern Etosha, including Halali, Goas, and Rietfontein waterholes. These areas are ideal for spotting lion prides, black rhino, and large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and kudu.
Lunch will be at a rest camp inside the park. Continue your game drive until late afternoon, returning to camp as the wildlife begins to gather for their evening drink.
Overnight at Okaukuejo Camp or similar.
After breakfast, continue east through the park toward the Namutoni Gate. Visit waterholes such as Chudop and Klein Namutoni, where birdlife thrives and predators like cheetahs and hyenas are often seen.
Stop at Fischer’s Pan, a vast, seasonal wetland that attracts flamingos and other migratory birds during the rainy season. Explore the old German fort at Namutoni before exiting the park and settling in at your lodge near the gate.
Overnight at Mokuti Etosha Lodge or similar.
Depart Etosha and drive south toward the Waterberg Plateau, a unique red sandstone escarpment that rises steeply from the surrounding savannah. Arrive by early afternoon and check into your lodge. You can take a guided nature walk, hike up to a viewpoint for panoramic views, or join an optional game drive on the reserve to see white rhinos, roan antelope, and Damara dik-diks.
Overnight at Waterberg Wilderness Lodge or similar.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning or short walk before heading back to Windhoek, approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by road. En route, you may stop at the Okahandja craft market to browse traditional carvings and souvenirs.
