7-Day Amboseli, Great Rift Valley & Masai Mara

Meet and greet on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your hotel in Nairobi. After a short briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park, driving through scenic countryside and Maasai villages.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the plains of Amboseli, famous for large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

The park offers excellent opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species around the swamps. Enjoy beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially in the early morning.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive north toward the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha.

Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife, followed by a guided nature walk around the lakeshore.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife parks.

Enjoy a game drive through the park where you may see rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species including flamingos along the lake shore. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge or enjoying another game drive.

After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive before departing for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara, searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife across the vast savannah plains.

Enjoy a full day exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.

The reserve is famous for its abundant wildlife including the Big Five. During the day you may also visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life.

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi through the scenic Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, enjoy a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you can learn about giraffe conservation and feed the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Later, transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
