Day 1: Arrival in Kasane – Chobe River Sunset Cruise

Arrive at Kasane Airport, meet your safari guide, and transfer to your lodge bordering Chobe National Park. After check-in, enjoy a relaxing afternoon Chobe River cruise, an excellent way to start your Botswana safari.

Watch herds of elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos gather at the water’s edge, while over 450 bird species provide stunning photography opportunities.

Day 2: Game Drive in Chobe – Transfer to Savuti Region

After breakfast, transfer overland to the Savuti Channel area, a rugged and remote region known for dramatic predator-prey encounters and ancient San rock paintings.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Savuti – Predator Territory

Enjoy a full day exploring Savuti, where the Savuti Marsh and Channel offer incredible wildlife sightings. This region is especially known for lion prides, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, and elephant bulls.

Track big cats on early morning and late afternoon game drives with an expert guide, and enjoy a bush picnic for lunch.

Day 4: Bush Flight to Okavango Delta – Mokoro Ride & Nature Walk

After breakfast, take a scenic bush flight to the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most untouched safari environments.

Upon arrival, settle into your water-based camp and explore the delta channels by mokoro canoe, followed by a guided nature walk in the nearby islands.
Dinner and overnight at Moremi Crossing, Pom Pom Camp, or similar delta lodge.

Day 5: Full Day in the Okavango Delta – Water & Walking Safaris

Spend a full day soaking in the rich biodiversity of the Okavango Delta. Activities may include:

• Morning mokoro excursion through papyrus-lined waterways

• Walking safari to track animals such as red lechwe, elephants, wildebeest, and zebras

• Birdwatching, with chances to spot Pel’s fishing owl, African jacana, and malachite kingfisher

Lunch is served at the camp before heading out for an evening mokoro or sunset walk.

Day 6: Optional Game Drive or Mokoro Ride – Relax & Reconnect with Nature

Depending on your lodge and water levels, enjoy an optional game drive in the delta’s dry islands or another mokoro ride with more intimate wildlife sightings.

Relax at camp in the afternoon or enjoy birdwatching from your tent’s deck. It’s a slower-paced day to unwind and appreciate the sounds of the delta.

Day 7: Sunrise Safari – Fly to Maun – Departure

Enjoy a final sunrise safari activity, either by foot or canoe, before breakfast. Later, you’ll transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Maun, where your Botswana safari adventure comes to an end.

Optional connections to Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, or Cape Town can be arranged.
