A traditional camping safari is the most affordable way to experience the Serengeti, and the most authentic. Sleeping under canvas with hippos grunting in the river nearby and lions calling somewhere in the dark is an experience no luxury lodge can replicate.
This seven-day group camping safari covers all three of the great northern circuit parks – Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti – with shared tents, camp meals, and proper bucket-shower facilities.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire campsite. Afternoon game drive.\n\nMeals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti
Game drive, transfer to central Serengeti campsite.\n\nMeals: Full board
Day 3-4: Full Serengeti
Two full days of game drives across Seronera and beyond.\n\nMeals: Full board
Day 5: To Ngorongoro
Morning Serengeti game drive, descend to Ngorongoro campsite on rim.\n\nMeals: Full board
Day 6: Crater Game Drive
Full-day crater floor game drive.\n\nMeals: Full board
