Arrive at Lomé–Tokoin International Airport, where your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Spend the afternoon exploring Lomé’s cultural and political core. Visit Independence Monument, Lomé Grand Market, and the National Museum. Walk through Akodessewa Fetish Market, which offers insight into Togo’s voodoo heritage, with stalls selling animal bones, fetishes, and herbal medicine.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in the city.

After breakfast, travel to Lake Togo and board a traditional canoe across the lagoon to Togoville. This historical town played a major role during the German colonial era and remains a spiritual center for voodoo.

Visit the German Cathedral, voodoo shrines, and meet local elders who explain cultural traditions. On the return, stop at Aneho, once a colonial town and now a quiet coastal settlement with historical buildings.

Return to Lomé in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive northwest to Kpalimé (approx. 2.5 hours), located at the base of the Togo Mountains. This area is known for cooler weather, scenic hills, waterfalls, and a thriving artisan community.

Stop at Togolese handicraft workshops to observe batik making, pottery, and wood carving. Later, hike to Cascade de Womé, a waterfall nestled in the forest. Visit local coffee and cocoa plantations in the surrounding area.

Spend a full day in the Kpalimé region. Begin with a botanical walk in the Missahoe Forest, known for its butterflies and bird species. Visit Mount Kloto for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continue to nearby villages to meet Ewé and Akposso communities, known for their cultural dances, local brews, and traditional weaving.

Return to your lodge for dinner.

Depart Kpalimé early and drive north through the scenic central region to Sokodé (approx. 6 hours). This area is inhabited mainly by the Tem people, known for their masked dances and strong cultural heritage.

Stop at towns like Atakpamé for lunch. On arrival in Sokodé, visit a local market and explore the old neighborhoods. Time permitting, witness a Tem traditional fire dance in the evening.

After breakfast, head further north to Kara (approx. 3 hours), a gateway to Togo’s tribal kingdoms and natural heritage.

Visit the Sarakawa Reserve for light wildlife viewing, then continue to the Koutammakou UNESCO World Heritage site, home of the Batammariba people. Their iconic mud tower houses (takienta) represent centuries of cultural tradition.

Explore their villages with a local guide and return to Kara for the night.

Begin the full-day return trip to Lomé (approx. 8–9 hours), stopping at Sokodé or Atakpamé for breaks and refreshments.
