Day 1: Arrival in Kasane – Chobe River Sunset Cruise

Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your safari lodge near Chobe National Park. After lunch and check-in, enjoy a relaxing sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River.

Expect close encounters with elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and birdlife like kingfishers, fish eagles, and bee-eaters.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Chobe – Scenic Transfer to Savuti

After breakfast, drive to the Savuti region in the western part of Chobe, a remote area known for lion prides, hyenas, cheetahs, and dramatic landscapes shaped by the ancient Savuti Channel.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Savuti – Predator Tracking

Spend the full day on game drives in Savuti, often called Botswana’s big cat capital. This is one of the best places in Africa to witness lion hunts and interactions among top predators.

Track game during both morning and afternoon drives, and enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush.

Day 4: Bush Flight to Okavango Delta – Mokoro Canoe Safari

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a scenic flight to the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and taken to your water-based safari camp.

In the afternoon, enjoy a mokoro (dugout canoe) ride through the narrow reed-lined channels, observing frogs, water birds, and possibly elephants crossing the wetlands.

Day 5: Walking Safari & Birdwatching in the Delta

Start your day with a guided bush walk on a nearby island, tracking animals such as red lechwe, impalas, elephants, and giraffes on foot.

Return for brunch and rest before an afternoon mokoro safari or birdwatching session, with species like African jacanas, herons, Pel’s fishing owl, and many more.

Day 6: Flight to Dry Delta Camp – Optional Game Drive

After breakfast, take a bush flight to the drier side of the Okavango Delta, such as Khwai or Moremi Game Reserve, where vehicle-based game drives are possible.

Settle into your camp and head out for an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, and plains game.

Day 7: Full-Day Game Drive in Moremi/Khwai

Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in one of the Delta’s best wildlife regions. Explore floodplains, forests, and open savannah, ideal for spotting everything from wild dogs to roan antelopes and bush babies at night.

Stop for a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration.

Day 8: Morning Safari – Flight to Maun – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive en route to the airstrip. Board your light aircraft flight to Maun, where your safari adventure ends.
