Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, your driver/guide who will brief you about your 8-day Egypt tour.
Depending on your arrival time, you will transfer to your hotel in Cairo for overnight, or you may take a brief tour around Cairo to get a feel of the vibrant city. Dinner and overnight at the Nile City Hotel, Cairo.
After breakfast, you will visit the Pyramids of Giza, home to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Explore the Great Sphinx, the legendary monument with the body of a lion and the face of a Pharaoh.
In the afternoon, head to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which houses thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun. After lunch, enjoy some free time shopping or exploring more of Cairo. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, you will board a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, start your Luxor tour with a visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive ancient religious sites. Explore the massive hypostyle hall with its towering columns and the sacred lake.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Sonesta St. George Hotel, Luxor.
After breakfast, you will head to the West Bank of Luxor to explore some of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites. First, visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore the tombs of ancient Pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun.
Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning monument dedicated to Egypt’s female Pharaoh. After lunch, you will have some free time to explore Luxor before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Aswan, known for its beautiful Nile views and significant archaeological sites. Upon arrival, you will visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and located on an island in the Nile.
In the afternoon, visit the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s modern engineering marvels, and enjoy the views of Lake Nasser. You’ll also visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an ancient artifact that gives insight into Egypt’s stone-working techniques. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Aswan.
Today, after an early breakfast, you will embark on a full-day excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples, built by Ramses II, are known for their colossal statues carved into the mountainside.
After exploring the temples, you’ll return to Aswan in the afternoon. Enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner at your hotel and overnight stay in Aswan.
After breakfast, board a Nile Cruise and head towards Kom Ombo. On the way, enjoy a leisurely sail along the Nile and witness the beautiful scenery. Upon arrival at Kom Ombo, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris.
After lunch, you will continue sailing to Edfu, where you will visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus in the evening. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast aboard your Nile Cruise, you will disembark and transfer back to Cairo by flight or private vehicle. Upon arrival, you will have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before heading to the airport for your return flight.
