GABON FOREST ADVENTURE-KONGOU FALLS & LANGOUE BAI – 10 Day
Gabon provides a wonderful variety of rare plants as well as an incredibly great multitude of orchids. Many places such as the Monts de Cristal or the Monts Doudou happened to be the refuges of several plants in the ice age and up to now searchers continue to discover unfamiliar plant species.
The latest discovery of a brand new Bai (a clearing within the forest in which animals visit to drink and lick the mineral salts) was at Langoue and offers an opportunity to view wild animals from elevated platforms (miradors) higher than the forest, and to talk with the researchers, similar to two renowned areas inside Congo, Ndoki plus Odzala.
The safari below is an adventure, on foot, by boat, and in a 4WD vehicle. Guests must be ready to walk in the hot and humid conditions. It does even so get deep in to the center of the forest, and provides an exceptional area.
This safari can be conducted any season of the year, other than Mid August to end October. This safari can be conducted for a maximum of six guests because of the minimal accommodation offered at Langoue
Includes: all meals during the safari, Transport, local guides services and John Addison or any similar, all the park fees, flight from Libreville to Makoukou.
