The city has vibrant streets with ancient buildings, several museums, the old Roman Catholic cathedral and the coastal fort.

Gorongosa
is found in the central part of Mozambique on the southern tip of the Great Rift Valley. It is surrounded by Mt. Gorongosa and its flowing rivers like Pungue, a diverse habitat for lions, elephants, sable, zebras, hartebeests and about 300 species of birds (e.g green headed oriole and moustached warbler). Take an evening game drive in the park and enjoy Bue Maria sundowns, the forest, low lying savannah and Lake Urema’s hippos and crocodiles.

Bazaruto islands
comprising of 3 large islands (Bazaruto, Magaruque and Banque) and some 2 small islands of Santa Carolina and smaller Banque is a national park set is undefined beauty of unique plant and forest species plus ecologically protected wetlands.
